From Monday, 1 November 2021 the Land and Environment Court registry counter will reopen. Only people who have received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine may attend in person. Persons attending the counter will be required to check into both the building and to the court using either the QR code or the sign in sheet located at the entrance of the building and as well as at the registry on level 4. Everyone attending the registry counter will be asked to show proof that they have checked in and that they are fully vaccinated.
The court reminds its users that face masks must continue to be worn at all times in the Court building (including the common areas, lifts and the foyer areas) and the 1 person/4m2 restrictions on indoor gatherings continues to apply to all areas of the court building. This may mean that once the maximum number of people in the registry is reached, you may be asked to drop your documents off and pick them up at a later time. The court will also continue to operate the drop off and pick up desks for the filing of documents for those that wish to continue to use that service.
